Boys Basketball Wins Holiday Tournament Crown

The Cedar Grove boys basketball team captured the West Essex Area Holiday Tournament championship by defeating Verona High School 40-37 on Saturday night.  Mike Pronesti led the Panthers with 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds while senior classmate Sammy Ventola scored 17 points in the championship win.  Cedar Grove defeated West Essex High School 40-20
